Google Meet has now a ‘limit data usage’ option to save user’s data and battery life when they are on low battery. The update rolled out today and will be available in the coming weeks. The limit data usage option has been rolled out for both Android and iOS users.

In case you are using Google Meet on your phone, and suddenly your battery health becomes low. So there is no need to worry, you can enable the limit data usage option. Which will save your battery life and will maximize it. However, it may affect the video quality, which can be then revised to higher quality after disabling the data saver.

The limit data usage mode is for such users not running WiFi on their phones. Either they didn’t have access to a good data network. Such users can use this option to have better communication, with fewer data and battery usage.

Users can enable it by opening the Google Meet App > taping on the left > then settings > and enabling the toggle for limit data usage under general settings.

Furthermore, it will be officially available for all Google Workspace users in the coming weeks. Stay connected for more news and updates.
