Apple recently rolled out iOS 14.5 along with iPadOS 14.5 and WatchOS 7.4. This new iOS update includes several new features. Moreover, one of the most awaited features for iPhone users also arrived.

Apple brings an update for iPhone users having Apple Watch running WatchOS 7.4, now iPhone users can unlock their phone even if they are wearing a mask.

Users can now unlock their iPhones using Apple Watch. This feature works only on those Apple Watches which have the latest WatchOS 7.4 update.

To use this feature, just enable the “Unlock with Apple Watch” feature in the Security (Face ID) settings on your iPhone.

Furthermore, several new features have been added. A new App Tracking Transparency feature lets you control third-party apps that track your activity. With this feature, users have the option to chose which apps can track their data for ads or for more reasons.

Those apps which track users’ data will need to take permission from iPhone users. The choice is now in the user’s hands, whether to allow it or deny it.
