Within a recent interview with WCCFTech, the developers disclosed some information regarding the Dying Light 2 upcoming features and modes.
Lukasz Burdka, who is the senior Technology Programmer, said that the game will have a four times bigger map. The idea is to feature more exploration the users could experience. The city will be far bigger than the previous Dying Light, so to enjoy the real-life experience.
Another developer, Tomasz from Techland said that,
“Yes. We plan to allow you to choose: Quality (including ray tracing), Performance (60+ FPS), and 4K. As we are working hard on performance, I cannot provide more details at this point. We try to cram as much as possible onto the next- gens”.
The Dying Light 2 will definitely come to the next generation consoles with 4K modes. As the developers revealed that our main priority is to deliver great game quality to the PS4 and Xbox consoles. As we have started testing the game on the older generation console as earlier.
Additionally, there is much more to be explored in the dying light 2. Recently a short snipped was released by the developers in the development update. They also mentioned that we need some time to ensure and deliver the project with successful efforts.
The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and new generation consoles such as PS5, Xbox Series X and S. We could expect the game release later this year. However, there is still not enough idea when it is going to be released officially. By the way, it’s a huge project and it may take some more time.
