Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 both are flagship devices. The iPhone 11 was released back in 2019, while the iPhone 12 is released in 2020. Design-wise both the phones looks similar having minor changes. However, the internals is quite similar as well. There are a few changes which we will highlight in this article.

Display

Both the phones come with a 6.1 inches display, the size of the phones is similar. However, the iPhone 12 has an upgraded Super Retina XDR display with a Dolby Vision feature. The iPhone 12 has a liquid Retina display with true tone colours. Besides this, the phone has an IP68 Water and dust resistant, including oleophobic coating. This coating protects the glass from scratching.

Internals

Under the hood, the iPhone 11 is powered by an A13 Bionic chip. While on the other hand, the iPhone 12 feature Apple A14 Bionic Chip. In consideration, the Apple A14 Bionic Chip is the fastest till now. Both phones are upgradable to iOS 14.4.

Camera

Regarding Photography, both the phones feature a 12 MP of wide lens, a 12 MP Ultra-wide lens, and has a 12 MP selfie camera. The plus point on the iPhone 12 is that it has a Dolby Vision HDR (up to 30fps). So while recording with Dolby Vision will give an extra cinematic look.

Connectivity

The common connectivity options are similar in both these devices. However, regarding the battery, the iPhone 11 has a 3110 mAh battery. While the iPhone 12 packs a 2815 mAh of battery. There is an 18W Fast charging support on iPhone 11 and 20W fast charging on iPhone 12.

Opinion

If both phones are in your consideration, then the iPhone 11 will cost you less than the iPhone 12. As there is no huge difference specs-wise and other features. Both the phones fall in the same category having similar internals and features except a few. So in my opinion the Apple iPhone 11 would the best choice to go for.
