HTC announced their first 5G phone in the HTC desire line up. The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G is currently available in Taiwan with a price tag of TWD 11,930. the phone is a mid-range device with some promising features.

The phone comes with a 6.7 inch IPS LCD HDR10 display. The display has a resolution of 1080 x 2400p, as it supports a 90HZ refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 10 and is powered by Snapdragon 690 5G SoC.

Currently, there is only one variant a 128GB internal storage along with 8 GB of Ram. On the back, there is a quad-camera setup, a 48 MP of Primary lens, an 8 MP Ultra-wide lens, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 5 MP depth lens. It can record videos up to 4k @30fps. However, on the front, there is a 16 MP selfie camera.

The HTC Desire 21 Pro features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is a 5000 mAh of battery which supports 18 W of fast charging. The phone is only available in two color options (Blue, Purple).
