Manchester United have been informed about when they can sign defensive transfer target Dayot Upamecano who is on the payroll of German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
In a chat with ESPN, RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann talked about Dayot Upamecano and the transfer rumours surrounding him.
Dayot Upamecano has been linked with a lot of the big European clubs including Manchester United.
The young French centre back might leave the club next summer according to his manager after he had revealed that the player will stay at the club for this season.

Dayot Upamecano has a release clause that will become active by next summer meaning that the Red Devils will have to wait untill then to lay hands on their man.
Manchester United see Dayot Upamecano as the perfect partner for Harry Maguire at the heart of their defence since the likes of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Victor Lindelof have not been able to do the job.
Swedish international Victor Lindelof is the first choice centre back partner for Harry Maguire but that could change by next summer.
Red Devils skipper Maguire has a sure spot in the Manchester United defence having signed for the club last summer in an £80m deal to make him the most expensive defender ever.
