Man United already considering this player as Pogba’s replacement

English Premier League outfit Man United will not need to have a special search for a replacement of France international Paul Pogba as they have a player that is already being considered.

The Red Devils have been in pursuit of Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish since the summer transfer window, and they are reportedly ready to make a move for him if the France international decides to leave.

Paul Pogba can no longer boast of a place in Man United as he has been struggling to find his form. He sat on the bench for the last two games which speak the fact that he is no longer an important member of the team.

The Manchester Evening News suggests that the option for the Red Devils chiefs will be the Aston Villa midfielder if Pogba does indeed leave the club.

Jack Grealish, the Aston Villa captain, recently signed a deal with the club until 2025 but that will not stop a move from happening if Man United come knocking again with a luring offer.

It would be recalled that Aston Villa insisted on a fee of £80m for their most prized asset during the last summer transfer window, and there are suggestions that they will not come down on the fee with the recent performance of the midfielder.

The 25-year-old boasts of four goals and five assists for Dean Smith’s side in the 2020-21 Premier League campaign. He was instrumental in helping Aston villa defeat Arsenal with his two assists for Ollie Watkins at the weekend.

However, Man United fear losing Paul Pogba in the coming summer transfer window especially after France national team boss Didier Deschamps confirmed that the former Juventus player is unhappy at Old Trafford.

Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid is the preferred destination of the World Cup winner as he has not hidden his desire to play in the team.
