Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix is on the radar of Premier League side Manchester United who are looking for alternatives in the event that they are not able to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

The interest of Manchester United in Joao Felix was confirmed by the Daily Star last summer.

England international Jadon Sancho is the main transfer target for Manchester United this summer. As a matter of fact, the Red Devils’ interest in the player dated back to the start of last season.

Manchester United were not able to sign the 20-year-old last summer and it seems like the same situation will play out in January transer window after Borussia Dortmund slammed an asking price of £108m on the player.

The Red Devils have already agreed the agent fees and personal terms for the transfer but it can’t go through if they are not able to agree a transfer fee with Borussia Dortmund.

Joao Felix is seen as an alternative to Jadon Sancho for the Red Devils including Juventus winger Douglas Costa and  Gareth Bale are also alternatives.

Portuguese international Joao Felix, 20, scored nine goals plus three assists in the Spanish La Liga last season.

He has five years left on his Atletico Madrid contract having joined the club last summer in a £113m deal.

With Suarez n their team, they would have no alternative than to sell him in January.
