Man United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reacted to the defeat suffered by his team against Istanbul in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

The 2-1 defeat in the Champions League adds to the woes of the Red Devils after they lost another 1-0 to Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend to make it back-to-back defeats.

Man United have now suffered a setback to their impressive start in the Champions League, having won Paris Saint Germain and RB Leipzig in their last two fixtures.

Bruno Fernandes has come out to appease the fans, insisting that his team must bounce back when they face Merseyside outfit, Everton, at the Weekend because suffering another defeat will be unacceptable.

He noted that a week ago, everyone was on the team with praises because of the wins against Newcastle, Paris Saint Germain, and RB Leipzig in both Premier League and the Champions League but that has now changed with the two defeats.

While admitting that the points in the Premier League is unacceptable, the Portuguese midfielder told MUTV that his team bust now go to every game to win to save the situation.

“Today was important to win to be comfortable in the table. But now it’s the same, we need to go for every game to try and win and it will not be different now in the Champions League, we’ re in a good position.

“In the league we’re not in a good position, we need to do much better and we need to do something in the next game” he said
Man United will play Everton in what is perceived as a tough fixture knowing that they are in 15th position with nine points adrift league leaders Liverpool.

A win against Everton will help salvage the team but another defeat will be a difficult one to bear.
