Former Arsenal player Ian Wright have unwittingly given the hint that the North London outfit will be bringing in a partner for new signing Thomas Partey in the coming transfer window.
The Arsenal icon made this claim after watching Mikel Arteta’s team defeat Man United by 1-0 but was more impressed with the performance of Thomas Partey.
Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from the spot to make it Arsenal’s first win away at a big six rival for the first time in 29 games.
The presence of Thomas Partey has been hailed for making Mikel Arteta’s team more solid but there is a need for a more creative player that Ian Wright advocates for.
“It’s all changed, it’s a new Arsenal in what they’re trying to do going forward” he said, adding that the team must continue to improve with the coaching, it will help the team better.

He stressed that the addition of summer target, Houssem Aouar “who they’re trying to get in the midfield alongside Partey, then you’ve got someone who can create for the forwards.
According to Ian Wright, winning games will be much easier for his former team if they eventually sign the French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon midfielder.
He hinted that the North London outfit might be planning to finally bring Houssem Aouar to the Emirates Stadium in the coming summer transfer window.
The North London made attempts to land Houssem Aouar in the last transfer window as their top target in the summer but failed to pay his release clause and that stopped the deal from happening.
Arsenal eventually secured the signature of Thomas Partey by activating his £45 million release clause and he has helped to solve the defensive issues of the club while the Lyon midfielder will be responsible for the creativity of the team.
