Arsenal legend Ian Wright has expressed fears that the Gunners will suffer a defeat against Man United if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fails to score and other players are not available to help out.

The North London outfit will travel to the Old Trafford at the weekend for an all-important game to rescue their season after suffering defeats in their last two games against Man City and Leicester City respectively.

Mikel Arteta’s men were able to deliver another win in the Europa League and will only hope to continue with that form when they face Man United at the weekend.

However, Arsenal have been struggling with goalscoring as the Gabon international kept firing blank in their last few games, and has no one to help out.

Ian Wright hinted that the opponents are already aware of the impact of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goal on Arsenal’s season and they are doing well to stop him from scoring. He cited Man City game as an example, stressing that Pep Guardiola assigned Kyle Walker to stick with the Arsenal forward to stop him from operating and that helped to defeat the Mikel Arteta’s team.

The Gunners legend therefore warns that the Spanish boss risks another defeat at the weekend if he fails to find another option for goal scoring should the former Borussia Dortmund striker fails to find the back of the net.

Ian Wright therefore insist that the North London outfit needs a creative player of Houssem Aouar’s quality in the team, noting that such a player will give options to the team and help them out in difficult times as this.

Arsenal have lost their last two games in the Premier League by a goal margin and failed to score in those games which means they are not doing badly defensively and need to be more creative to be able to score.
