English Premier League outfit Chelsea player Ruben Loftus-Cheek is currently away from Stamford Bridge for a loan spell at Fulham but he has revealed details of his discussion with manager Frank Lampard before he left as he hopes to return stronger.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek joined the Blues team as a great prospect under former Italian boss Maurizio Sarri but he has not lived in that potential as he has been out from action for 13 months as a result of an injury he sustained in a charity game.

Efforts by the youngster to return to his best form have been a difficult thing to achieve since his return. He was favoured for a staying role in Chelsea’s season opener against Brighton but has not played a single game since then.

He has not revealed that he approached manager Frank Lampard for talks about leaving the club on a temporal deal to return when he is able to get his career back on track and that was accepted.

“I had an honest conversation. I was the one who initiated it. I felt like it was paramount that I played a lot of football this season” he stated.

However, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is confident that he can still have his chance at Stamford Bridge as he is hopeful of a return in the nearest future.

With the Fulham chance, Ruben Loftus-Cheek now has the chance to resurrect his career, especially getting the chance to play in the national team. This is not the first time he will use a loan spell to his advantage. The last time he was out on loan, he was able to secure a national team call-up.

More so, the new signing at the West London outfit will leave little or no space for Ruben Loftus-Cheek if he were to be at the Stamford Bridge.
