Arsenal fans are not going to take the defeat against Leicester City on Sunday night for granted as they hold French striker, Alexandre Lacazette responsible for the defeat after he failed to take his chances in the game.

Jamie Vardy’s second-half goal, after coming from the bench was all Leicester City needed to condemn the North London outfit to their third defeat in the Premier League this season. Arsenal have only earned nine points from six games this season.

Alexandre Lacazette had scored a header in the early part of the game but they were denied the point by the referee and they never got the chance to score again with the former Lyon striker missing a clear chance that would have lifted the team.

No doubt, it was not a good day for the French forward as his goal was denied after then, he received a cross from Kieran Tierney and all he needed to do was to repeat the head ball but he was unable to do that.

The poor miss has been condemned by the Gunners fans and he is being blamed for the defeat on social media with some fans comparing the 29-year-old to former Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh which is, of course, a downgrading comment.

Some fans claim that Alexandre Lacazette is slowly becoming a liability and have called on manager Mikel Arteta to secure the service of a new striker to help the team.

Should Alexandre Lacazette continue with his inconsistent performance, he might be marking his last days as an Arsenal player as Mikel Arteta will be looking for a replacement in the transfer window.

The best time to sell Alexandre Lacazette is now because he is still in his prime and will attract a better deal. The North London outfit must make good use of the opportunity.
