Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta might be far below his boss at his former club Man City but he has been highly regarded and hailed despite falling by 1-0 in Saturday’s game.

The Spanish boss returned to his former club on Saturday but as an opponent and suffered a 1-0 defeat, no thanks to Raheem Sterling’s first-half goal.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola hints that he will not be deceived by the result of the game as he hailed Mikel Arteta as a great coach who has everything to become a contender.

He did not hide his words by stating that Mikel Arteta has all it takes to win the Premier League for Arsenal as that has to been experienced for a long time at the club.

Mikel Arteta was an assistant to the former Barcelona manager and they both enjoyed the working relationship with a lot of results to boast of before accepting to pick up the job at the North London outfit.

The Spanish boss has been hailed for giving the North London outfit a better shape and helping them to be a better contender than they have been for the last few years.

There was a need for such a manager after Arsene Wenger left with Unai Emery’s leg failing to fit in the shoes.
