Argentina international goalkeeper Sergio Romero is not the only player that was stopped from leaving the Old Trafford this summer transfer window, it has been claimed.
The 33-year-old had a deal to move to Everton on the transfer deadline day but the club rejected the move and that not gone well with the player who is still desperate to leave.
It has now been revealed that Jesse Lingard was also stopped from making a move to Portuguese outfit FC Porto against his wish.

Jesse Lingard has not had the best of his career since the start of last season and seems to have gone down the pecking order at the club. He seeks to revive his dying career abroad but that opportunity is being denied him.
The summer transfer window might have ended for English Premier League clubs but that will not stop players from moving to other leagues in Portuga, Russia, and the MLS as their window remains open until October 25.
However, the England international still has a chance of leaving the Old Trafford before October 25 as the Red Devils have already secured the signature of Edison Cavani on a free transfer from the French Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain.
