A lot has been said about the moves made by the English Premier League outfit Arsenal in the just concluded summer transfer window.

The North London outfit were able to bring in a number of players to make the team stronger in major positions with Willian coming in from Chelsea to help the attack.

Dani Ceballos also returned from Real Madrid for another loan spell to strengthen the middle while Gabriel Magalhaes was brought in to help give depth to the Arsenal defence. This adds to making Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares permanent at the club.

The big one is the signature of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey on the transfer deadline day and that has caught the attention of several mangers and pundits to think that the Mikel Arteta team can now prove a point.

Legendary manager Arsene Wenger is the latest to make a claim by stating that Mikel Arteta’s team can now challenge for the English Premier League title this season, adding that they now have what it takes to pull some surprise packages.

The last time Arsenal won a Premier League title was under manager Arsene Wenger in 2004 and the club have only dreamt of winning it again.
