Matteo Guendouzi has been out-of-favour at Arsenal as he has not had any competitive game this season which makes him linked away from the club.

The problems with the Frenchman started with his fracas with Brighton & Hove Albion’s Neal Maupay and that has caused an issue between himself and manager Mikel Arteta.

A report by a French outlet claims that Matteo Guendouzi is now in open conflict with the Spanish boss which means they cannot work together anymore at the Emirates Stadium.

The 21-year-old has been offered to some clubs in a swap deal but was rejected, the reason why he is still an Arsenal player as he is no longer wanted by the manager.

French Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are reported to be interested in the signature of Matteo Guendouzi on a loan deal. The North London club are insisting on a permanent parting with the player but that is still being discussed.

It is understood that Matteo Guendouzi also wants to leave Arsenal to continue his development and have playing time. He is reported to be attracting interests from clubs in Spain and Germany but none have been made official with few days left to the end of the summer transfer window.
