Report: Aouar To Leave Lyon ‘Hours From Now’

According to experienced journalist, Derradj Hafid, Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar will leave the French Ligue 1 giants in a matter of hours amidst the strong transfer rumours of a possible transfer to Arsenal.

The journalist talked about Houssem Aouar via his official Twitter account as he said that the Gunners are in pole position to sign him ‘hours from now’.

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Real Madrid are also interested in the newly invited France national team player.

Aouar has made the national team squad for the first time ahead of the national team games scheduled for this month.

Premier League side Manchester City and Italian Serie A outfit Juventus were also linked with Aouar at the start of this window.

Arsenal are leading the race for the player and have already seen several bids turned down by Lyon for the player.

The last offer from the Gunners was €38m but Lyon are holding out for €12m more.

Lyon initially had their valuation of the player at €60m before it was reduced to €50m upon neogotiations with Arsenal.

Houssem Aouar was one of the best players in last season’s Champions League as he led his French club into the last four.
