Manchester United legend Andy Cole has backed his former club over their reluctance to pay the outrageous transfer fee demanded by German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund for their top target, Jadon Sancho.
England international Sancho is the priority target for the Red Devils in the present transfer window but they have not been able to make any headway after Borussia Dortmund slammed a €120m (£108m) transfer fee on him.
When asked about Dortmund’s valuation of the player, former Manchester United striker told PA news agency that it is crazy money.
According to him, Manchester United are right not to bow to the outrageous demands of Borussia Dortmund.

Andy Cole also revealed that he wants thr club to strengthen the team in both the central defence and central striker positions.
The ex-Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United player was satisfied with the current crop of players in the Manchester United midfield.
He said that the Manchester United midfielders can hold their own against any midfield in the Premier League.
Manchester United have found it tough in the present transfer window after making just one signing since the start of the window in July.
Dutch international Donny Van De Beek is the only major arrival.
