A lot of concerns have been raised over the future of Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil at the Emirates Stadium but there has been no one available to give an explanation, not even manager Mikel Arteta.

It is understood that the former Real Madrid midfielder has been training with the first team without any injury concern, yet he has continued to be snubbed for selections, the latest being the Carabao Cup against Leicester City.

Mesut Ozil has been frozen out of the team, yet he is refusing to leave the club with reports that he has been receiving offers from a number of clubs in Turkey, Qatar, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.

What makes the situation looks more complicated is the fact that Mesut Ozil has always looked happy in training and that has reflected in his social media posts.

However, the question was again, put forward to manager Mikel Arteta and he refused to give an answer as the German international was not named in the team that traveled to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night.

When pressed, the Spanish boss opened up by stating that it will be very difficult to have Mesut Ozil in the squad because of the change in the team, adding that players are selected based on their condition.
