Manchester United and rivals Liverpool are the frontrunners for the signature of Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr.
Sarr suffered Premier League relegation with the Hornets at the end of last season. The Senegalese international was one of the best performers in that Watford team and his quality has been noticed by the biggest English clubs.
According to the Independent, Manchester United see Ismaila Sarr as one of the alternatives for top target Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils have tried to sign Jadon Sancho this summer but they have not made a breakthrough in the bid to sign the Borussia Dortmund player.

Sarr could prove to be a good replacement for Jadon Sancho if Manchester United are able to sign him ahead of Liverpool.
The Senegalese international left French club Rennes to join Watford in a £30m deal last summer and the English Championship club will demand more than that amount for the player.
Liverpool have already wrapped up the transfers of Kostantinos Tsimikas and Thiago Alcantara this summer and Ismaila Sarr could be their third signing.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has a potent front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. Ismaila Sarr could be the first alternative to that front three.
