Premier League heavyweights Manchester United are considering a move for Gareth Bale who’s an outcast at Real Madrid.

A report from ESPN claimed that Manchester United see the Real Madrid winger as an alternative to top transfer target Jadon Sancho.

Borussia Dortmund have set £110m as the asking price for England international Jadon Sancho if the Red Devils want to sign the 20-year-old this summer. Jadon Sancho has three years to run on his existing Borussia Dortmund deal.

Bale has two years left on his Real Madrid contract but the 31-year-old is frustrated at his lack of playing time at the club whom he signed in 2013 in an £85m deal from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

The Welsh international came close to leaving Real Madrid for the Chinese Super League before president Florentino Perez pulled the plug on the deal.

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon said that the Spanish champions turned down a very big bid from an unnamed club last summer in one of his recent interviews.

Manchester United tried to sign Gareth Bale many times in the past especially before his then club-record move to the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu.

Bale has won two league titles and four Champions League titles at Real Madrid.
