One of the strangest transfer reports of this summer is the reported interest of Italian Serie A champions Juventus in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
The transfer news broke through journalist Gianluca Di Marzio as he said that Giroud has provisionally agreed on a deal to leave Chelsea for Turin. The news was then debunked by the player himself as he reiterated that his future lies at Stamford Bridge.
Gianluca Di Marzio then returned to expose the transfer clause in the contract of Olivier Giroud at Chelsea. According to him, the clause states that Giroud can leave Chelsea if any club offers €5m for him.

The coming weeks will reveal the true picture as regards Olivier Giroud and a possible exit from Chelsea. The French international has seen his position as the first choice central striker come under serious threat with the signings of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.
Giroud started last season as the third choice striker before he was elevated to first choice in the final three months of the campaign.
He has to contend with Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham and Kai Havertz for the first choice striker position at Chelsea this season. Giroud wants regular football to stay in contention for a place in the France team ahead of the European Championships next summer.
