Manchester United have been informed about when they can sign defensive transfer target Dayot Upamecano who is on the payroll of German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
In a chat with ESPN, RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann talked about Dayot Upamecano and the transfer rumours surrounding him.
Dayot Upamecano has been linked with a lot of the big European clubs including Manchester United.

Manchester United see Dayot Upamecano as the perfect partner for Harry Maguire at the heart of their defence since the likes of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Victor Lindelof have not been able to do the job.
Swedish international Victor Lindelof is the first choice centre back partner for Harry Maguire but that could change by next summer.
Red Devils skipper Maguire has a sure spot in the Manchester United defence having signed for the club last summer in an £80m deal to make him the most expensive defender ever.
EPL: Man United Legend Backs Club Stance Over ‘Crazy’ Jadon Sancho Fee
Manchester United legend Andy Cole has backed his former club over their reluctance to pay the outrageous transfer fee demanded by German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund for their top target, Jadon Sancho.

When asked about Dortmund’s valuation of the player, former Manchester United striker told PA news agency that it is crazy money.
According to him, Manchester United are right not to bow to the outrageous demands of Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given the go ahead for the club to make another bid for highly rated Lyon skipper Houssem Aouar.
Aouar, 22, is the top midfield target for Arteta and Arsenal as they attempt to beef up their squad before the transfer window ends in October.

Houssem Aouar has made his decision to sign for Arsenal after the lack of approach from other interested clubs like Manchester City, Barcelona and Juventus.
Various media outlets claimed that the player has already agreed his weekly wages with the Gunners and that the Premier League giants are in talks with Lyon over his transfer.
Houssem Aouar came through the ranks at Lyon and he’s one of their best players.
The Frenchman showed his quality in the Champions League last season and he was a big driving force behind the performances recorded by Lyon.
In eight Champions League outings, Aouar scored one goal in addition to four assists.
EPL: Chelsea Agree Personal Terms With Rice
Chelsea have spent the most money amongst European clubs during this year’s summer transfer window and it looks like their transfer splurge has not ended according to the Daily Express.
The Blues have spent almost £250m on transfers this summer and the report via the aforementioned British media outlet stated that the West London giants have agreed on personal terms with Declan Rice paving the way for the club to sign him if they can agree on a transfer fee with the Hammers.
Declan Rice spent the majority of his youth career at Chelsea before he was released at the age of 14.

West Ham United signed him almost immediately and the England international went on to represent the first team and he has not looked back since then.
Declan Rice is an important member of the West Ham United squad and he has a valuation of £80m on his head.
Chelsea will take their transfer splurge over the £300m mark this summer if they are able to re-sign the midfielder with the Hammers reluctant to lower their asking price.
The Hammers hierarchy came in for some rough treatment from the fans earlier this month following the sale of young winger Grady Diangana and the sale of Declan Rice would even cause more problems at the club.
EPL: Desperate Man United make this last push for Sancho
English Premier League outfit Man United have really shown that they are desperate in their bid to land a winger this summer window with England international winger Jadon Sancho as their number one target.

While the German Bundesliga outfit have made it clear that they are not willing to negotiate the fee for the youngster, it is understood that the Red Devils chief, Ed Woodward will also not stay on this deal after this proposed last attempt that is expected to happen before the end of the summer transfer window.
Transfer: Jesse Lingard keeps Man United waiting
Man United will be forced to keep waiting for Jesse Lingard to make a decision over his future as his words are being expected by the club before the end of the summer transfer window.
With one year left to the end of his contract with the club, Jesse Lingard has been told by the club that he can leave but the 27-year-old has not brought in any formal offer.
Although, Sky Sports reports that his representatives have been holding talks with some English clubs on a possible deal but the player seems not to be decided yet, over his future.

Despite starting a game for Man United for the first time this season against Luton in the Carabao Cup clash on Tuesday, he cannot be guaranteed a starting role in the club this season.
However, Man United must free up the team to be able to accommodate other signings as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he will be making some signings before the end of the summer transfer window.
The club is currently being affected by the coronavirus pandemic and that can be blamed for their slow summer transfer activities as they have missed out on a number of targets so far.
EPL: Aouar, Partey may not join Arsenal but this player might
Arsenal fans already have their attention on the club’s two major targets for the midfield role but that might not happen because of the difficulty in sealing the deals.
Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar from Lyon are the two targets for the Gunners this summer window after the signing of Willian from Chelsea and Gabriel Magalhaes from French Ligue 1 outfit, Lille.
The Gunners have been making efforts to convince both Lille and Atletico Madrid over the deal but that has proved difficult as both clubs are not willing to negotiate the asking prices for their players while efforts to reduce the financial burden by including a player as a swap deal was turned down.

It is now understood that the North London outfit might not be able to seal the move for either of the players and will now consider other options with Chelsea midfielder Jorginho as a possible deal as Sky Sports reports that Mikel Arteta is keen to add another midfielder to his books.
Jorginho has been linked away from the Stamford Bridge to join former manager Maurizio Sarri at Juventus but the speculations have been laid to rest with the sack of the Italian manager. The player could still leave the West London outfit with Arsenal considering submitting an offer.
EPL: Man United receive words from their defensive target
Man United have continued to be linked with Dayot Upamecano from the German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig but there have not been any concrete report of negotiations with the player.
It is reported that the Red Devils are still making moves to move in for the player before the end of the summer transfer window, especially after they were defeated in their opening game of the season.
However, the player has something to tell the Red Devils regarding their interest in him. He stated that he is fully focused on staying with RB Leipzig this season, not minding the speculations of offers from his suitors.

The young defender was at his peak last season for the German Bundesliga club, helping them to reach the Champions League semi-finals last season and that has earned him the attention all around Europe.
With less than two weeks to the end of the summer transfer window, the direction of the Red Devils for the summer transfer market is yet to be known but the fans have been assured of seeing new faces at the club this season.
EPL: Man United to make late swoop for Barcelona player
The Red Devils have been reported to be planning a late swoop for the signature of Barcelona and French defender, Samuel Umtiti, according to France Football.
The future of the World Cup winner at the Camp Nou is very unlikely and has been linked with a move away from the club with Arsenal and Man United mentioned as possible destinations for the Frenchman.
The chances of Arsenal continuing with their reported pursuit of Samuel Umtiti are slim as they have already made some defensive additions with Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.

However, Man United are yet to settle their defensive challenge and that could lead them into making a move for the French defender who is out of favour with the Spanish La Liga outfit.
While Barcelona can boast of other options in their team for the season’s challenge, they also want to cut down their wage bill as a result of the financial downturn, a major reason why Samuel Umtiti could be sold.
Pundits have told manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he needs to bring in another centre-half that will pair with Harry Maguire to be able to avoid unnecessary defeats.
Samuel Umtiti could also be the ideal player for the Red Devils knowing his experience in the game at a big level.
