Liverpool have resigned to losing the services of midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum to Barcelona this summer as per the report from the Daily Mirror.
The Reds have already set a price for the player as per the aforementioned report.
The Premier League champions were said to have told Spanish La Liga side Barcelona that a transfer for Georginio Wijnaldum will set them back to the tune of £15m which is slightly lesser than the £23m transfer fee paid to sign him from fellow Premier League club Newcastle United in 2016.

Dutch international Wijnaldum has a year to run on his Liverpool and he’s looking like the 29-year-old is tilting towards the exit rather than sign a new contract. The player has a big admirer in new Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman who wants him to join his revolution at the Nou Camp.
Liverpool are expected to step up their chase for Bayern Munich playmaker Thiago Alcantara as the potential replacement for Wijnaldum if the Dutchman exits the club.
Thiago Alcantara also has a year left on his present deal just like what’s obtainable with Georginio Wijnaldum but the Bavarian giants want to get as much money for him. His price tag is set for €30m.
