Why Ed Woodward, Solskjaer clash will surface after Jadon Sancho deal

Jadon Sancho

There have been relative peace and calmness at the Old Trafford for Man United but there are fears it could be threatened with the arrival of England international Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils have been stressed out in their pursuit of the England international winger from German Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund as they have failed to convince Jadon Sancho’s owners on the need to come down from the £100 million asking price.

It is already reported that Man United are frustrated in the deal but they have continued to remain on the negotiation table with believing that a deal would be sealed before the end of the summer transfer window.

The only reason for United’s patience on the deal is the fact that Ed Woodward is of the belief that with the coming of Jadon Sancho, the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team will become title challengers.

This means that if the Red Devils fail to challenge for the English Premier League title in the coming season, the relationship between Ed Woodward and United’s manager will go sour.

No doubt that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been the force behind the Red Devils interest in the former Man City youth player and he will definitely take the blame if the player fails to impress after the heavy investment on him.

arsene wenger

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he almost hurt the club in 2007 by dumping the job as he was unhappy with one of the decisions made at that time.

The legendary Frech manager revealed that he almost dumped the North London outfit in 2007 when his close pal, David Dein was sacked by the club because he felt torn and it was almost unbearable for him.

He revealed that he held a similar discussion with David Dein but he was told to stay at the club as they were very close and were loyal to each other.

Explaining that the decision of the club to sack David Dein was a result of the Emirates Stadium that was being built but it was a difficult reality to bear with.

Arsene Wenger insists that his leaving Arsenal would have hurt the club badly because he was highly needed at that time to help the team as he was also attracting interests from Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain.

However, the legendary French boss retired at the Emirates Stadium in 2018 to be the most successful manager in the Gunners history after a 20-year reign, winning the Premier League and the FA Cup titles.

Jorginho

It has been revealed that the English Premier League outfit Arsenal were at Chelsea to negotiate with Italian midfielder Jorginho some weeks ago during the summer transfer window.

The North London outfit were in need of a midfielder and were finding it difficult to negotiate a deal with their top target, Houssem Aouar as the French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon were keen on a fee they could not pay.

The former Napoli star, Jorginho was a target for the Gunners and he has hinted that he held negotiation with the club but he failed to agree on a move as he was more interested in staying with the Blues team.

He stated that every player is opened to negotiation, as he hinted there were talks over a move but a decision was made to that he remain at Stamford Bridge.

The 28-year-old was linked away from Chelsea during the summer transfer window as he was obviously unsettled at the club but that is past now as he declared that he is now happy to stay.

However, the North London outfit secured the signature of Ghanaian international, Thomas Partey from Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid on the summer transfer deadline day.

Frank Lampard

From all indications, West Ham United fans are interested in seeing Chelsea boss Frank Lampard sacked as the club manager.

The reason for this is to have the club keep their prized asset, Declan Rice as the Chelsea boss is desperately out to land him to the Stamford Bridge in the coming transfer window.

Speaking in West Ham Way podcast, @ExWHUemployee revealed that the former Chelsea midfielder is the man behind the move for Declan Rice as he is the reason why the Blues want him and West Ham United fans do not want to lose the midfielder either.

According to him, Frank Lampard’s job is currently being threatened because of the bad results so far this season and the only way he will not secure the signature of Declan Rice is to get sacked.

@ExWHUemployee, who is familiar with the happenings at West Ham United confessed that he cannot guarantee whether a new manager at the Stamford Bridge will want to land Declan Rice at the moment but he is confident that the Blues would not have been in the chase of the player if not for the former England international.

Howbeit, Frank Lampard failed to deliver a win again when his team faced Man United on Saturday evening as the game ended in a goalless draw.
