Man United enjoyed a 2-1 win against LASK and will now be heading to the Europa League quarter-finals but more to the progress is the fact that these games could be the last for some of the players, according to the club legend, Paul Scholes.

Paul Scholes mentioned Jesse Lingard and Fred as the two players that could leave this summer window because of their poor performance in the game.

Jesse Lingard was on the score sheet as he made it two goals for the Red Devils but that did not happen until he gave a horrific performance throughout the season.

There is also no doubt that Paul Scholes has not been impressed with Fred’s performance and the game against LASK in the Europa League did not change that feeling.

However, in his analysis, Paul Scholes stated that Jesse Lingard has not been at his best, stressing that there are signs he is not longer important in the team adding that the same thing goes for Fred who could be shown the way out.

Although, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not make any claim on the future of the two players when giving updates on the transfer plans of the club and the expected exit.

The legendary Norwegian only made it clear that Alexis Sanchez would be leaving the club as he has already been sold to Inter Milan.
