The fact that Dean Henderson would me leaving Sheffield United has been confirmed but his destination is still unknown as a decision on his future has not been reached.

The Man United player has just ended his loan spell with Sheffield United at the Bramall Lane and not expected to return as he would be seeking a new challenge elsewhere.

Dean Henderson’s stay at the Old Trafford is also very unlikely as he would sit with the club to know the plans for him. He has stated clearly that he would not return to be a second goalkeeper and if that cannot be assured, he would seek a move without signing a new contract.

West London outfit, Chelsea have already indicated an interest in the goalkeeper as they seek to part ways with Kepa Arrizabalaga over his poor performance, especially during the restart of the season.

However, Chelsea could make a bid for him if he is not assured of a first-team place ahead of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, a wish that is very unlikely to be granted.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United are already preparing for life without Dean Henderson as they are reported to be planning a bid for Trabzonspor shot-stopper, Ugurcan Cakir who is valued at £20 million.
