There will be unease at Arsenal, especially among the fans with reports that Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona have made their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang their second target ahead of the summer.

Barcelona have made Lautaro Martinez from the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan their first and major target but with the £100 million price tag slammed on him, they could be forced to abandon him for the Gabon international.

This development is coming when Arsenal are on the verge of losing their bid for Europa League qualification, a situation that could force most of the star players out of the club.

More so, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is yet to sign a new deal and that could be a factor for the Catalans to snap up the signature of the Gabon international striker.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been outstanding for the Gunners since last year, picking up the EPL golden boot in the previous season and already in the contest for this season. Losing him will be a big one for the North London club and it is something the fans will never wish for.

It is feared that a bid from Barcelona might be difficult for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to reject, especially if the Gunners fail to qualify for the Europa League as they are confirmed to miss the Champions League next season.
