Ahead of their North London derby against Arsenal, Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has stated that his team lacks the required sharpness.

The former Chelsea and Man United manager made this claim after his team failed to deliver a goal in their 0-0 EPL game against Bournemouth.

According to him, the team lacked sharpness and the right attitude and that was why they failed to enjoy a win in the game.

He added that his players are tired, the reason why he had to rest some of them.

Mourinho, therefore, claimed that the Gunners team has got an advantage over his side because they rested for 48 hours and that could give them an edge over his team when they meet.

Suggestions are that the statement credited to the Portuguese manager is a mind-game tactic he intends to use against their next opponents especially after threatening to see a win in revenge of a post by Arsenal which he termed as disrespectful to Tottenham.

It is widely believed by pundits that the Tottenham boss will be approaching the game against Arsenal with all seriousness because he seeks a win to prove a point.

The result of the game will determine who tops another as they are just a point apart.
