Solskjaer is spoilt for quality choices in his midfield and defense but he could do with one more silky player on the flank in the form of Sancho. Marcus Rashford and Daniel James are about the only players that play from the flank but if they sign Sancho, they’d have gotten a skillful player who could provide inch-perfect passes for his attackers as well as score goals.
Man United have fielded the young players with bags of potentials this season and Solskjaer is keen on signing more youngsters for the club. Sancho is adept at retaining ball possession and running into pocket of spaces during an attack – with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, he could forge a formidable front three partnership with the aforementioned stars.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson called time on his glorious spell as the manager of United in 2011, several managers have struggled to bring back the glory days for the club but Solskjaer is backed by Chief Executive Ed Woodward to return to club title winning ways. The Norwegian boss has been so far supported in the signing of players and they are poised to do same in a bid to land Sancho.
