EPL: Man Utd Handed Transfer Boost With Player Set To Miss Next Match

Premier League club Manchester United have been given a transfer boost according to Portuguese media portal Record after it was revealed that top target Bruno Fernandes will sit out the upcoming league game with Maritimo on Monday evening as a result of the speculation over his future at his Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.

Bruno Fernandes has been at the heart of a protracted transfer saga that also involves Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon.

The two clubs have not been able to agree a transfer fee for the 25-year-old midfielder though all the parties are confident that a deal would be done before the end of this transfer window.

It was disclosed that the two clubs are still far from reaching an agreement on a transfer fee for the player as things stand now.

Bruno Fernandes is a goalscoring midfielder who has netted almost 50 goals since the start of the last campain.

The former Sampdoria player scored 32 goals throughout last season and has already netted 15 goals since the start of the current campaign.
