Aston Villa and Crystal Palace were Premier League clubs keen to sign Rhian Brewster on loan but the England junior international opted for Swansea City primarily because of his close relationship with Steve Cooper who is the manager at the Welsh side.
Steve Cooper and Rhian Brewster are no strangers after the two won the 2017 FIFA World Cup with the latter emerging as topscorer after netting eight goals for England.
Rhian Brewster played his last game for Liverpool this season as a second-half substitute during the FA Cup third round win over Merseyside rivals Everton.
Curtis Jones scored the only goal of the game as the Reds were able to seal a place in the fourth round of the competition.
