Jude Bellingham

Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly plotting a swoop for highly-rated Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham.

This is according to the publication from the Daily Telegraph which revealed that the Red Devils are planning a transfer for the young midfielder ahead of the winter transfer market in January.

Jude Bellingham burst onto the scene as a teenager at the start of the season after he made his Birmingham City debut at the age of 16 years and 38 days.

He has drawn comparison with Manchester United’s talismanic midfielder Paul Pogba as a tall, creative and powerful midfield maestro.

The aforementioned publication also reported that Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan went to scout the player last week as the teenager was watched while he was in action for Midlands club Birmingham City.

Manchester United are one of the many clubs on the trail of Jude Bellingham who is one of several players on the transfer shortlist at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have already missed out on one of their targets in retired Croatian international player Mario Mandzukic who has left Juventus for Qatar.

Manchester United were favourites to sign the Al Duhail FC new recruit until recently when they moved on from the 33-year-old striker to Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Haaland.
