Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been one of the best players at the club since the start of this season but the West Londoners will have to do without him for the Premier League meeting with West Ham United.

Tammy Abraham sustained a hip injury in the last game, a 1-1 draw away to Spanish side Valencia in Group H of the Champions League.

The Chelsea striker will miss the London Derby clash with West Ham United at Stamford Bridge as a result of the aforementioned hip injury.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard confirmed that Nigerian-born England international Tammy Abraham will miss the West Ham United game during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the match.

Frank Lampard also said that the hip injury is not serious and he would be hoping to have him back for the next league game in midweek.

Tammy Abraham has scored 11 goals for Chelsea upon his return from a loan spell at Aston Villa at the start of this season.

10 of those 11 goals have come in the Premier League as he’s the joint second topscorer in the competition alongside Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and behind Leicester City star Jamie Vardy who has 12 goals.
