How Daniel James Rejected Other Clubs Approach In Favor Of Manchester United
When Manchester United calls, there’s no other way for Daniel James‘ — That was the way Norwich manager Daniel Farke revealed the reason why he couldn’t sign in-form United midfielder Daniel James in the summer.
James was a subject of transfer speculations before the start of this season as he was linked with Manchester United, Norwich among others.
The Red Devils eventually completed James’ signature ahead of the Canaries for £15m and the Englishman has been lively for the Old Trafford outfits.
Speaking to newsman during his pre-match conference ahead of United’s challenge, the Norwich City manager claimed that he was a fan of the young man and he had interests in him since his days at Swansea.

“He is a player I always liked and I tried to see if there was a chance we could work together. Sadly when Man United call, there is no chance for Norwich to get a player, ” he disclosed.
Reacting to how James seamlessly settled into Solskjaer’s side, Farke claimed that he isn’t surprised with the player’s performances which have seen him scored three goals so far this season.
“I’m not surprised he has become a key player for them so early. All respect to him because he is already crucial.”
The former Swansea City man will hope to add to his tally when United travel to Carrow Road to battle Norwich City who haven’t been too impressive.
