Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes that the Premier League title race is done and dusted after the events at Anfield on Sunday evening.
Jose Mourinho has been working in the media in the past months and he was in the Sky Sports studio as a guest analyst for the blockbuster league game between Premier League contender Liverpool and holders Manchester City.
After the game, Jose Mourinho said that Liverpool have wrapped up the league title after beating Manchester City 3-1 at home.
Before the Premier League match, Jose Mourinho had said that Liverpool will win the league title if they manage to beat defending champions Manchester City and he maintained that stance after the Reds achieved that result.

Liverpool took the lead through Fabinho in a controversial manner after Manchester City were refused what looked like a genuine penalty appeal.
The ball had struck Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold’s hand before Fabinho produced a stunning strike to give his team the lead.
Mohamed Salah added a second goal for the hosts to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead at the interval.
Sadio Mane extended that advantage at the start of the second half but Liverpool were denied a clean sheet with the late strike from Bernardo Silva.

Mourinho Suffers First Champions League Defeat At Spurs

New Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has been beaten for the first time in the Champions League following the defeat at the hands of German champions Bayern Munich in their Matchday Six clash at the Allianz Arena.
Mourinho and his Spurs players were beaten 3-1 by the Bavarian giants who were the only team to finish the group stage campaign with an unblemished record.
Bayern Munich won all their six group games in Group B and amassed a complete total of 18 points as a result.

The Germans were given a helping hand due to the fact that Ex-Chelsea and Manchester United boss Mourinho rested a lot of his first-team players with both clubs already through to the last 16 stage of the competition.
Bayern took the lead through Kingsley Coman in the 20th minute before summer signing Ryan Sessegnon equalized for Spurs just before the end of the first half.
Experienced campaigner Thomas Mueller came off the bench for the injured Coman and he was responsible for the second Bayern goal as he prodded home from close range after Alphonso Davies had struck the post.
Ex-Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho wrapped up the victory for his team with the third goal to ensure that Bayern made it six wins from six Group B games.

Atalanta midfielder Mario Pasalic was on target for the Italian Serie A giants as they made history in the Champions League courtesy their 3-0 win over Ukranian side Shakthar Donetsk on Matchday Six.
He was one of the goalscorers for Atalanta who secured the much needed win to book their spot in the last 16 of this season’s Champions League.
Mario Pasalic is a Croatian international and he is on loan at Atalanta from Premier League giants Chelsea.
Atalanta made history as they became the first team to make the knockout stage of the competition after losing their first three group games.

They scored three goals in the last quarter of the game to seal a convincing 3-0 win over 10-man Shakthar Donetsk after Brazilian player Dodo was sent off nine minutes after Belgian international Timothy Castagne had given the away side the lead in the 68th minute.
Mario Pasalic added a second goal in the 80th minute before German left-back Robin Gosens wrapped up the game in added time to take his team to the next round.
Atalanta were helped by the result from the other game as group leaders Manchester City came from behind to beat hosts Dinamo Zagreb 4-1 courtesy the hattrick from Gabriel Jesus and a Phil Foden goal.

The Blues secured their place in the knockout stage with the slim 2-1 win at home to French club Lille in their final group game.
Topscorer Tammy Abraham scored the first goal of the game to take his tally to 13 goals in all competitions this season before club skipper Cesar Azpilicueta added a second goal with ten minutes left on the clock.
Former player Loic Remy halved the deficit on 78 minutes to setup a grandstand finish but Chelsea held on to take the points and secure their place in the knockout stage.

RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner has scored 20 goals in 22 appearances for his team in all competitions including three goals in six Group G games in the Champions League.
He has also scored two goals and assisted two more goals in two games in the German Cup for the 2019/20 season.
RB Leipzig are in the Champions League last 16 after the Germans finished their Group G campaign at the top of the group.

Carlo Ancelotti is not a stranger to the Premier League having been appointed the Chelsea manager in 2009.
He spent two seasons at Chelsea before being sacked in 2011.
Ancelotti won the Premier League title at Chelsea during the 2009/10 season thus becoming the second Blues boss to achieve the feat behind Jose Mourinho.

It was revealed that the Premier League leaders are ahead of rivals Chelsea and Manchester United in the quest to sign Jadon Sancho who’s keen to return to English football.
The England international left the Premier League in 2017.
Jadon Sancho signed for Borussia Dortmund two years ago for a fee of around £8m from Premier League champions Manchester City.
He had some problems at Borussia Dortmund earlier this season but that seems to be a thing of the past after the young English winger scored three goals in the last two games in all competitions.
