Sporting Lisbon Slam Big Price Tag On Bruno Fernandes

Portuguese Super League giants Sporting Lisbon have slammed a big price tag on their star player Bruno Fernandes according to the latest reports emanating from the media in Portugal.

Bruno Fernandes is a key player for Sporting Lisbon and he has been linked with many big teams on the European football scene including Manchester United.

He was the leading midfield goalscorer in Europe last season with 33 goals in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon.

His form for Sporting Lisbon attracted the big teams but they were unable to prise him away from the Portuguese club during the summer.

Earlier reports claimed that Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur made a £60m bid for him in the summer but they were unable to pull it off.

Manchester United were linked with a move for Bruno Fernandes throughout the summer but nothing came out of the numerous transfer links.

The Red Devils retain an interest in the Portuguese international player and they will have to pay £52m for him as per the hefty price tag slammed on the player by his club.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are also interested in a move for Bruno Fernandes as they bid to overhaul their aging midfield of Luka Modric (34) and Toni Kroos (29).

The price tag was revealed by the specific report from the popular Portuguese media outlet Record.
