Former Juventus and AC Milan manager Maximiliano Allegri has been advised to wait for the managerial job at Manchester United.
Allegri was told to wait for the Manchester United job by compatriot and fellow Italian manager Fabio Capello.
Ex-Real Madrid, Juventus and AS Roma manager Fabio Capello was speaking on Italian station Radio Anch’io Sport when he told Allegri to bide his time for the Manchester United manager.
He asked him to snub the vacant Bayern Munich managerial job for the one at the Theatre of Dreams.

Niko Kovac was dismissed from his role as the Bayern Munich manager on the back of the 5-1 thrashing handed out to them by Eintracht Frankfurt.
Maximiliano Allegri is one of the leading candidates for the job according to the latest media reports.
Others like Ajax Amsterdam manager Erik Ten Hag, Jose Mourinho, Ralf Rangnick and Arsene Wenger are also in contention.
Allegri has been linked with the Manchester United job for the better part of the season as the Red Devils continue to struggle.
The 1-0 loss at the home of Bournemouth on Saturday made it four league defeats already this season.
