Manchester United are reportedly set to raid Championship side Leeds United for new players after Daniel James’ successful integration into Solskjaer’s team.
It should be recalled that James completed a £17m switch to the Theatre of dreams from England’s second-tier club Swansea, and he has been wonderful for the team.
Having seen the player’s brilliant start to life at Old Trafford, Solskjaer is now set to lure another championship player Kalvin Phillips to his team in January.
According to reports that emanated from the Carrington training ground on Monday, the 23-year-old star has caught Solskjaer’s attention after his great performances for Leeds United this campaign.

The Sun reported that United have sent their scouts, including assistant manager Mike, to watch him play at the Elland Road to see if he has all it takes to add more quality to the midfield setup.
The same source also claimed that Tottenham are equally keeping close tabs on Phillips despite Mauricio pochettino’s inability to sign him last season.
It was said that the North London club submitted a £27m bid for the player which was turned down by Leeds who claimed that the player is worth more than the offer.
This means that the Red Devils should be ready to offer close to £40m in the summer if they must sign the 23-year-old before next season.
