Axel Tuanzebe

Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is reportedly back to fitness after picking a slight knock prior to Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool at the Old Trafford Stadium.

The young centre-back is fast becoming one of the favorite players among the Red Devils Faithfuls following his string of fine performances but he was unable to prove his worth against Liverpool.

Despite being included in Solskjaer’s starting lineup for the game, the young England star played no part in the encounter as he was replaced by Marcos Rojo due to injury.

The good news is that he’s back to full fitness but the United manager isn’t ready to rush him back into action.

Hence, Tuanzebe is expected to miss Thursday’s Europa League game against Partizan Belgrade.

It is believed that Solskjaer wants him to be a hundred percent fit for their trip to Carrow Road where they will tackle Norwich City this weekend.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba is equally set to miss the upcoming Europa League fixture due to his ankle injury which has kept him out of action for close to two months.

The French missed the highly-entertaining battle against the Merseyside club as he was seen with a walking stick, though reports claimed that he should be back at the team in two or three weeks’ time.
