Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the summer transaction period due to the presence of Harry Maguire and in-form Victor Lindelof.
Despite numerous rumors that Everton and Fenerbahce were interested in his services, the Argentine center-back still managed to remain at Old Trafford after the end of the transfer period.
He featured alongside Maguire on Sunday as he helped the team secure a morale-boosting draw against Liverpool and has revealed his readiness to fight for a spot in Solskjaer’s list of regular starters.

Rojo told reporters that he is willing to play in any position if that will make him feature regularly in the team.
“I’m happy here. I want to play; I want to be titular [a regular starter] My best position is as a central defender, that’s where I want to play, but I’m happy to be used as a lateral too.”
He claimed that his fitness level is getting better thanks to the pre-season tour and Solskjaer’s training method which has helped him maintain good shape so far this season.
“I’m in very good condition this season. The pre-season was right and I’ve not been able to say that in other years because I’ve had injuries.”
Rojo will hope to continue his partnership with Maguire at the back of the pitch when they tackle Partizan Belgrade on Thursday.
