Good News For Solskjaer As Injured Player Could Be Back Sooner Than Expected

Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot could be back to training soon if his tweet on Tuesday afternoon was anything to trust.

The young Portuguese international picked up a hip injury during United’s unexpected defeat to Newcastle before the last international break and he wasn’t in action against the Reds last Sunday.

The good news is that Dalot could be fit in no distant time as the player claimed that he’s close to returning to full fitness and he looks forward to joining the rest of the team soon.

“During the Newcastle game, as you all know, I picked up an injury. I am now recovering, and already looking forward to joining back up with the team as soon as possible to help the boys get back to where we belong!” he wrote on his official Twitter handle.

This will come as encouraging news for Ole Solskjaer who has seen most of his first-team players suffered from one injury to another this season.

Young defender Axel Tuanzebe was the latest injury casualty as he picked up a knock while warming up for Liverpool’s challenge.

He was, however, replaced by Marcus Rojo prior to the start of the encounter which ended 1-1 on Sunday.
