Italian tactician Maximiliano Allegri wants former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra back at the club according to the latest reports in the media.
The former AC Milan and Juventus boss is said to be keen to add retired French international left-back Evra to his backroom staff if he takes over as the Manchester United manager.
This is according to the publication from football365.
Maximiliano Allegri is one of the front-runners for the Manchester United job if the club decides to sack manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the poor start recorded under his watch.
Apart from Allegri, RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann and Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino have also been linked with the Old Trafford job.
Maximiliano Allegri has not been in the dugout since he resigned from his job as the Juventus manager in the summer.
He had one year left on his Juventus contract before his resignation.
Compatriot Maurizio Sarri has since replaced him as the Juventus manager and he has led the Italian champions to the top of the table in Serie A.
At Juventus, Allegri won five straight lecture titles in addition to reaching two Champions League finals.
He lost those finals to Spanish opponents Barcelona and Real Madrid.
