Premier League giants Manchester United have penciled down RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann as a potential candidate to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Julian Nagelsmann made his name as the TSG Hoffenheim manager before he left to join RB Leipzig and the German tactician has been mentioned as a possible manager for Manchester United in they decide to replace former club striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who’s under serious pressure to perform at the moment.

On his part, Julian Nagelsmann started the season at the top of the German Bundesliga table with his RB Leipzig players but they have gone off the boil literally.

RB Leipzig are in fifth position now with 14 points from just seven league games.

Solskjaer and Manchester United have been largely unconvincing this season.

They lie in the 12th spot on the Premier League table with nine points only.

Manchester United are two points above the relegation zone after their latest loss at the home of Newcastle United.
