What Unai Emery Said About Xhaka After Being Booed By Fans
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has defended one of his players after the Premier League clash with newly promoted team Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
Stand-in Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka was booed off by the Gunners faithfuls at the Stadium for the Aston Villa game following his poor performance.
Xhaka was replaced by Lucas Torreira with Arsenal trailing 2-1 to Aston Villa but they were able to overturn that deficit with two late goals without the Switzerland international player.
After the game, Unai Emery told reporters that Granit Xhaka was substituted during the game having played three games the Gunners in the space of one week.

Xhaka played the entire duration of the disappointing 2-2 draw with hosts Watford in the penultimate league game played on Sunday before playing all of the Europa League opener against German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
He was on for 90 minutes as Arsenal beat the Germans 3-0 away from home.
Granit Xhaka has always been a scapegoat for the Arsenal fans mainly due to his past mistakes though Unai Emery was very clear on his position as regards the Swiss midfielder.
He told reporters that Granit Xhaka is a key player for his team.
