Manchester United have made an average start to the new Premier League season under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The former club striker is under serious pressure after the West Ham United result.

West Ham United had beaten Manchester United 3-1 in the penultimate fixture last season and they made it successive wins with the result at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell scored the goals for West Ham United either side of the halftime interval to give the Hammers their third win of the season.

It was the second league defeat of the season for Manchester United.

The Red Devils had earlier lost their first league game of the season against Crystal Palace.
