In-form Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is doubtful for the upcoming Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Chelsea and Liverpool meet in a week six Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge this weekend and recently capped England international Mason Mount could miss the game.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard gave an injury update on Mason Mount during his pre-match presser on Friday ahead of the league game against Liverpool on Sunday evening.
According to him, Mason Mount is a big doubt for the Liverpool game due to the ankle injury that he sustained during the Champions League game against Spanish La Liga side Valencia on Tuesday.

He was replaced by Pedro Rodriguez in the first half of that game because of the said ankle problem.
Without Mason Mount in the team, Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by the visitors courtesy the second half strike from Rodrigo Moreno off an assist from Dani Parejo who’s the Valencia skipper.
Mason Mount has been in fantastic form for Chelsea this season and it was not surprising when he received his first invitation to the England national team setup during the just concluded international break.
He made his debut for the Three Lions of England during the Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo earlier this month.
