Deji Sotona

16-year-old Nigerian player, Deji Sotona has been named as the fastest player at Old Trafford.

Report by Daily Mail claimed that Deji Sotona beats Manchester United senior team players such as Marcus Rashford, Daniel James,  and Tahith Chong.

The youngster emerged as the fastest Manchester United player with a maximum speed of 22.9mph.

Deji Sotona has 1.2mph speed ahead of second-place Diogo Dalot in the recent tests at Manchester United Carrington training complex.

Recall that Deji Sotona recently signed a new 2-year scholarship contract with Manchester United.

Now, the Nigerian, Deji Sotona has been confirmed as the fastest player at Manchester United.

He has debuted for Manchester United U-18 against Newcastle United this year on March 16.

He’s now United fastest player but we suspect that he won’t hold the title for too long. Although he’s still very young we believe his impressive speed will certainly give him an edge to play for the senior team, and, if Nigerians are lucky, then he will play for Super Eagles as well.
