Ex Man United Star Reveals How Much He’s Worth In Transfer Market

Former Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he would be worth €300m in the transfer market.

Ronaldo talked about the transfer market in an interview with Portuguese media outlet TV1.

Ronaldo also questioned the exorbitant transfer fees for goalkeepers and defenders in today’s transfer market.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is the most expensive goalkeeper in world football after the Blues paid around £71m to secure his transfer from Spanish La Liga club Athletic Bilbao.

The Blues activated the release clause in his then contract with Athletic Bilbao.

For defenders, Manchester United star Harry Maguire is the most expensive following his move from Leicester City this summer.

Manchester United paid £85m for Maguire to break the previous record set by Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk when he was transferred from Southampton for £75m.

Cristiano Ronaldo spent nine years as a Real Madrid player before joining Italian Serie A giants Juventus last summer in a club-record deal.

The Italians paid an initial fee of around £100m for the Portuguese international superstar thus making him the most expensive signing in their history.

Ronaldo was a key player for Juventus as the Italians retained their league title ahead of the likes of Napoli and Atalanta.
